  Absolute Rip Off. Do not use. Had a problem with my toilet, explained the issue to 2 plumbers (both whom I know), as my preference couldn't do the job I asked Heatlink to take a look. As a customer or friend I was never given a quote by heatlink. Heatlink performed 50% of the work required and charged £120 for less than 1 hours work. I thought this was expensive for the time spent performing the task. Asked 2 other firms for a quote for the entire job, both stating £45-50 to complete the work (100%). I was never contacted with regards to parts and how much it would be or what was required. I ended up getting an independent plumber to finished the job and it took 5 minutes and cost £10. Heatlink wanted to charge £65 to do the same thing (£140 labour for 1 hours work altogether). Also based on the parts required I could have got an entire new tank for £25 more, and this would have been a 5 minute job in total and come with 8 years warranty! This was never suggest by heatlink yet suggested by 3 other firms which proves Heatlink were only interested in making money and not an effective solution. All 3 firms I was in contact with confirmed there is no way this job should ever cost that money. Not clear up front, poor service, if they had charged £1000 they would want paying. Threatened small claims based on the fact I said I wasn't happy paying and never communicated or wanted to speak on the phone to sort it out. Would not recommend, do not use. Plenty of decent honest plumbers who are upfront and not trying to take people's money.
